TV Sep.

With the “TV Sep.” button a triggering using picture- and line-synchronizing impulses of monitors or TVs is possible. The abbreviation stands for “active TV synchronizing separator”. It simplifies failure analysis on TVs.

If the switch is set to “Off”, picture- or line-synchronizing impulses do not influence the trigger timing. In position “TV H” the trigger moment is determined by the start of a new picture, in position “TV V” it is determined by the start of a new line of the picture.

In this simulation the switch can be moved, but the signal processing cannot be influenced by the setting and always acts as if the switch was set to the “Off” position.
